"Background Data is Restricted" notification on Android 6 Devices

On some devices that run Android 6 OS (mostly Samsung devices), you may experience internet connection issues when the "Power saving mode" is enabled and the following message will appear on your screen:

This is caused by a bug in the Android 6 OS - When the "power saving mode" is enabled, it can disrupt the internet connection when connected to a VPN server (like Netspark Mobile). You can fix the issue by completing the following steps:

1. Enter your device settings

2. Press "Power saving". On some devices the "Power saving mode" may appear in "Battery" settings.

3. Turn off the "Restrict all background data" option.

* If you are still experiencing these issues, turn off the "Power saving mode" completely.
